Amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation were supported by 77.92% of the voters in the all-Russian vote, according to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation based on the results of processing 100% of the protocols.
According to the data published on the screen in the CEC information center, 21.27% of the voters were againts the amendments to the Constitution. The overall turnout, according to the latest data, was 65%.

All-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation is ended, the CEC has no information about the facts that could affect the result. This was stated on Thursday by the head of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova in the CEC information center, where the results of the vote are discussed.
"Now we can say, even before the official results are summed up: the all-Russian vote was finished, at the moment we are not aware of any cases that might at least in some way affect the result that we are now seeing with you together," she said.
Pamfilova informed that the CEC planed to sum up the official results of the vote on Friday, July 3. "We enable our commissions today, if there is any complaint all the time to consider, to understand, to sum up, to deliver us all the documents that form so we can safely tomorrow bring official results of the voting", she explained.
At the same time, the results of voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation were completely canceled at one polling station - in the Ramenki district in Moscow.
"According to available as of 2 July, one subject of the Russian Federation in the course of counting of votes and tabulation completely abolished the results of one site in connection with violations that do not allow to reliably identify expression of will", she informed.
Pamfilova clarified that it was about the polling station number 2783 in the Ramenki district of Moscow, where "the casting of ballots by the Chairman of the precinct commission was recorded".
Online voting
More than 1 million Russians voted on the amendments to the Constitution by electronic remote means.
"1 million 100 thousand people, residents of two subjects of the Russian Federation - Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod region, voted by electronic remote method. Or about two percent of the number of people who voted before the voting day [July 1], " Pamfilova said, adding that more than 58 million people voted before July 1.
The all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution went better than the Central Election Commission expected, Pamfilova said.
"So far, it seems to us, in general, not only to us, that it went better even than we expected. But before the official summing up of the results, we must still look, analyze, " Pamfilova said.
She admitted receiving new complaints and comments, but expressed confidence that they would not be able to influence the results of the vote.
"What will appear can no longer negate the unprecedented work that we have done, the results, the will of our people, which is already obvious," the CEC Chairman believes.
Pamfilova also thanked all participants of the voting - members of election commissions, journalists and law enforcement officers. "Thank you all very much. This is our common work for the country, for ourselves, for our families, for our future," the head of the Central Election Commission concluded.
Video surveillance
Video surveillance at polling stations during voting on amendments to the Constitution was conducted in 80 out of 85 Russian regions.
"In 80 out of 85 regions there was video surveillance, including in many regions they reinsured themselves, put video recorders in the rooms where ballots were stored at night... ," the head of the CEC said.
Pamfilova recalled that more than 526 thousand observers "almost totally monitored all regions and all types of voting". Such "unprecedented measures", according to the head of the CEC, "made it possible to prevent any significant attempts of falsification, stuffing, and so on, to minimize the number of violations to a negligible number."
The all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation ended on the entire territory of Russia at 21: 00 Moscow time on Wednesday.
The main voting day is July 1, but Russians could also vote between June 25 and June 30. This was done to counteract the spread of the coronavirus infection. The counting of votes is carried out for all seven days of the vote. According to the law, in order for the amendments to take effect, they must be supported by more than half of those who took part in the all-Russian vote, and the turnout threshold is not set.
