Asadov also said that Azerbaijan highly appreciates the role of the Russian Federation in resolving the situation around Karabakh and is committed to fulfilling obligations under the trilateral statement.

In particular, Asadov stressed that under the leadership and close contact of the vice prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, "the 9th point" of the trilateral statement of November 9 (on unblocking economic and transport ties in the region) is being successfully implemented. "Azerbaijan, for its part, is fully committed and will fulfill all those obligations it undertook in the statements of November 9 [2020] and January 11 [2021]," the Azerbaijani government head added.
