Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Egyptian Ambassador to MoscowNazih el Nagari discussed the situation in the Red Sea, as well as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This is stated in the message issued by the Russian MFA.
"During the conversation, the parties thoroughly discussed the situation in the Middle East focusing on the development of the situation in the Red Sea area, the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Sudan," the ministry said.
It is noted that they also discussed further strengthening of "traditionally friendly Russian-Egyptian relations" and the schedule of upcoming bilateral events.
