Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov had a meeting with Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal at his request.
"The conversation included discussion of the situation in the Middle East with a focus on prospects for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, efforts to restore Palestinian national unity, as well as promoting the Russian-Palestinian relations," the statement says.
