The Buk-M2E complexes of the Syrian army destroyed four guided missiles fired by two Israeli F-16 fighters on the Syrian province of Homs, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, told reporters.
"On July 22, from 01:11 to 01:19, two F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force from Lebanese airspace struck four guided missiles on objects in the Homs province. All four missiles were destroyed by the on-duty Syrian air defense forces with Russian-made Buk-M2E systems," Kulit said.
On Monday, July 19, Israeli Air Force fighter jets fired eight guided missiles into territory southeast of Aleppo, seven of which were repelled by Russian-made Pantsir-S and Buk-M2 systems.
