Chairman of the UAE Federal National Council Saqr Ghobash at a meeting with Speaker of the Council of Federation Valentina Matviyenko conveyed a greeting from President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I would like to convey a greeting from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and also take this opportunity to pass on his greeting addressed to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin," he said Tuesday at the meeting.
"You have always advocated the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation between our countries, and thanks to this they are now at a decent level," Ghobash continued, referring to Matviyenko. - "You also have close personal ties with representatives of the UAE leadership, largely due to this close communication your contribution is invaluable in terms of shaping a positive image and impression of Russia in our country, as well as the role of Russian women."
Ghobash also praised Russia's approaches to solving crisis situations in the world and its ability to cooperate in international forums, including the UN Security Council. In addition, the chairman of the UAE council invited Matviyenko to visit the country again.
