On behalf of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" and on my own behalf, I express deep condolences on the passing of Metropolitan Feofan of Kazan and Tatarstan.
Metropolitan Feofan of Kazan and Tatarstan was a member of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World", actively participated in its activities in different directions. For all of us, it is a heavy and irreparable loss. Vladyka Feofan, being a bright, kind and fair person, served his people conscientiously for many years without sparing forces and energy. He made a great contribution to the formation of traditions of spiritual education in Russia. He called believers to good deeds, elevating moral values based on the principles of peace, goodness, happiness, justice and interfaith harmony.
