Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov had a meeting with Ambassador of Iraq to Russia Haidar Hadi, at the latter’s request.
The officials exchanged opinions on the current situation in Iraq, as well as on the matters concerning the Middle East agenda in general.
"Special attention was paid to topical issues of further strengthening of traditionally friendly Russian-Iraqi relations," the Russian Foreign Ministry comments.
