Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary celebration. In turn, the ruler of Kuwait invited the Russian leader to visit the country.
As the Kuwaiti News Agency reported, the emir of Kuwait thanked for the congratulations and pointed to "historically strong relations between two friendly countries that have developed significantly during the time of Putin's presidency."
In addition, the emir expressed hope for further development of joint cooperation in all areas.
“The Emir again addressed an invitation to the Russian president to visit Kuwait as a dear guest of the Kuwaiti people”, - the agency said.
The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was born on June 16, 1929.
