Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan will leave on Tuesday for a two-day visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the first trilateral summit of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Department of Communications of the Presidential Administration of Turkey.
The summit will be held in the Awaza national tourist zone in the city of Turkmenbashy on the Caspian coast.
The parties will discuss steps to further deepen cooperation between the three countries, primarily in trade, energy, and transport sectors. A number of agreements are planned to be signed following the results.
Erdogan will hold bilateral talks on the margins of the summit.
The summit was originally scheduled to be held last year.
