The delegation of the Afghan radical «Taliban» movement (banned in the Russian Federation) at the second inter-Afghan conference, which will be held in late April in Doha, will include women for the first time. This was reported in an interview with the Afghan media by the representative of the movement Zabiullah Mujahid.
«Among the members of the delegation at the Doha meeting there will be women», he noted, in particular, adding that women in the Taliban’s delegation don’t have family ties with high-ranking members of the movement, but are «ordinary Afghans living in Afghanistan and its limits».
According to Mujahid, women will take part only in negotiations with political and public figures of Afghanistan. They will not participate in negotiations with the US delegation.
It is known that on April 19th-21st the second inter-Afghan conference is scheduled in Doha.
