Foreign embassies were not affected during the riots in Kazakhstan, the official representative of the republic's Foreign Ministry, Aibek Smadiyarov, told TASS on Friday.

"Foreign embassies in Kazakhstan were not affected during the riots. The embassies are under enhanced security," he said.
