Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu at the latter’s initiative.
The parties discussed in detail the Syrian settlement process with emphasis on the situation in northeastern Syria.
They also exchanged views on the developments in the Balkans.
The ministers also agreed to continue the in-depth dialogue in order to further strengthen and develop Russian-Turkish cooperation in all areas.
