International terrorists plan to use not only wives and widows of militants for their attacks, but also their children. The Director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation Alexander Bortnikov claimed it today in Dushanbe at the opening of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States.
“We are aware of the intentions of the Leaders of International Terrorist Organizations to use for their own purposes widows, wives and children of militants who are returning en masse to the countries of origin”, he mentioned.
Therefore, according to Bortnikov, in this environment it is necessary to conduct thorough filtration work to identify potential suicide bombers and ideological propagandists.
