Deputy Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan Mikhail Galuzin and Khalaf Khalafov discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the countries at Wednesday's consultations. The Russian foreign ministry said in a statement issued following the meeting.
"The state and prospects of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation, including the most topical issues of the current agenda, were discussed in detail," the Russian foreign ministry pointed out.
The Russian MFA said that during the meeting the parties "checked the notes" on some regional and international issues. "In the light of contacts among the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia [Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan] in Moscow on May 25 on the margins of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the parties stressed the importance of consistent implementation of all trilateral agreements reached by them," the ministry emphasized.
