Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi stated on Monday that the member countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) are hopeful for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Speaking at the sixth ministerial meeting of the Russia-GCC Strategic Dialogue in Moscow, Albusaidi emphasized the potential threat the Ukrainian crisis poses to international peace and security.
"We firmly believe in seeking a peaceful solution to this crisis," stated Albusaidi, highlighting the GCC's stance on the confrontation related to Ukraine. The minister's remarks underscore the collective desire of the GCC countries to see a peaceful resolution and the avoidance of further escalation in the Ukrainian conflict.
