Hamas Declares Hostages Will Not Be Released Until Israeli Forces Withdraw from Gaza

The Palestinian movement Hamas has stated that it will not release the hostages until Israeli forces withdraw from the besieged Gaza Strip, an obituary regarding the assassination of Yahya Sinwar, a leader of the organization, published on Hamas's Telegram channel, reads. 



“We, the supporters of Hamas, declare that the hostages held by the resistance forces will not return [home] until the [Israeli] aggression in the Gaza Strip ends, [Israeli] troops withdraw from the enclave, and Palestinian prisoners [in Israeli jails] are freed,” the statement says.
