The all-Russian conference "State policy of the Russian Federation in the sphere of countering extremism and terrorism at the present stage (in the context of state-confessional interaction)" is finishing its work in Pyatigorsk today.
The conference was organized by Pyatigorsk Ыtate University with the assistance of Kunta-Haji Russian Islamic UniversityPyatigorsk, Interfaith Conference, the fight against terrorism (Grozny), Abu Hanifa North Caucasus Islamic University (Nalchik) and Dagestan Institute of Humanities (Makhachkala) and the Coordination center for Muslims of the North Caucasus.
The participants discuss the issues of interaction between state authorities and civil society institutions, including scientific and religious organizations for the prevention of extremism and combating terrorism.
