Iran Reports Strikes on Two Israeli Air Force Bases and Mossad Headquarters

02 October

Iran has launched strikes on two Israeli Air Force bases and the headquarters of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, according to Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces.

“Tonight, we attacked the Mossad headquarters, the Nevatim and Hatzerim airbases, as well as the radars [of missile defense systems] and concentrations of Israeli tanks,” Bagheri stated. He emphasized that while Iran had the capability to target Israel’s economic infrastructure, they focused only on military facilities.

Bagheri explained that Iran had exercised restraint for a long time, but after the assassinations of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Abbas Nilforoushan, by Israel, “the situation became unbearable for Tehran.”
