Iran showcased a range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including the Shahin UAVs, electronic warfare systems, and radio reconnaissance equipment at the Army-2023 International Military-Technical Forum.
The display included the Arash, Ababil-5 and Karrar UAVs, as well as the Hunter-2 electronic warfare system. The Hunter-2 system, capable of detecting aircraft-type drones up to 200 kilometers away, works in conjunction with defeat systems. Each system presented at the forum has extensive combat experience. Iran expressed openness to defense cooperation with Russia.
Another highlight was the Shahin combined-type UAV, Iran's inaugural electronic drone. This device features five electronic motors and can stay in motion for two to three hours, reaching a maximum flight altitude of approximately 4 kilometers.
The Iranian defense ministry's booth featured several zones, including GB125 guided bombs, Yasin combat trainer aircraft, boats and the SM-300 anti-ship cruise missile system.
