Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian is scheduled to arrive in Beirut on February 9, according to Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani.
"Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian will arrive in Beirut tomorrow and hold several meetings with Lebanese senior officials to discuss current developments," announced the ambassador on his social media page X.
The visit, initially reported by Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar, was anticipated to take place by the end of the week.
Additionally, Syrian newspaper Al Watan has indicated that Iran's foreign minister will also embark on a visit to Damascus in the near future.
