Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met with the future Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Russia Kazem Jalali. According to the press service of the President of Iran, the meeting took place on the eve of the diplomat's departure to Moscow.
During the meeting, Rouhani reminded about the "good bilateral and multilateral relations" that bind Tehran and Moscow and noted the importance of cooperation with Russia and accelerating the implementation of agreements between the two countries.
Previously, Iran's Ambassador to Moscow was Mehdi Sanaei, who represented the interests of the Islamic Republic since 2013.
