The Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes on Syrian army positions in the central provinces of Homs and Hama. A source within the Syrian Armed Forces Command confirmed this information to the SANA news agency.
The source stated, "A new aggressive Israeli attack occurred on Wednesday at 22:40 local time (equivalent to Moscow time). The enemy utilized Lebanese northern airspace to strike Syria." According to the source, the attack resulted in material damage only, with no reported casualties or injuries.
On September 13, another source within the Syrian Armed Forces Command reported that an Israeli attack had targeted the outskirts of the port city of Tartus, located 220 kilometers from Damascus. During the missile attack's interception, two Syrian soldiers were killed, and six others were injured. The strikes originated from the airspace over the Mediterranean Sea.
Prior to this, the Al Hadath TV channel had reported that the enemy aircraft had attacked a weapons warehouse belonging to Shiite formations in the al-Jamasa area, south of Tartus. At least three Shiite fighters were killed in the attack.
