Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, discussed the supply of Russian vaccines against COVID-19 to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz leader told RIA Novosti.
The meeting between Kozak and Japarov took place on Monday.
"During the meeting, the sides also discussed measures taken by the sides to counter the spread of the coronavirus infection, including the supply of Russian vaccines to the country," a representative of the press service said.
He said the talks also included an exchange of views on the current state and promising areas of Kyrgyz-Russian bilateral cooperation, as well as on the implementation of agreements reached following Japarov's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi on May 24.
