King Abdullah II of Jordan will come to Russia to participate in the meeting of the Valdai club, which will be held on October 3 in Sochi.
Commenting on the upcoming visit, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said that it would be a good opportunity to strengthen relations between Russia and Jordan.
"We look forward to the visit of the king and his meeting with the Russian President, which is another opportunity to emphasize how close our friendship is, how our relations are transparent and open and how much work we have to do", - Safadi said, in particular, at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
