Kabulov: date of extended Troika meeting on Afghanistan in Kabul has not been agreed yet

The exact date of the meeting of the extended Troika on Afghanistan (Russia, the United States, China and Pakistan), which was scheduled for February in Kabul, has not yet been agreed upon, Zamir Kabulov, the Russian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Director of the Second Asia Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told TASS on Monday.


"Not yet, we are waiting for a proposal on the date from partners," he said, answering a related question.


Earlier, in an interview with TASS, Kabulov reported that the next meeting of the extended Troika is planned to be held in Kabul by the end of February. The previous meeting was held in Islamabad on November 11, 2021.
