Documents in the field of education, transport, digitalization, space and training of specialists in the nuclear power industry were signed following the results of negotiations of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow, the press service of the Kazakh president reported on Thursday.
"Following the talks, a number of documents were signed in the field of education, railway transport, digitalization, space exploration and training of specialists in the field of nuclear energy," the report said.
It is noted that during the meeting of the leaders of Kazakhstan and Russia special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of education. "Taking into account the demand for highly qualified personnel of engineering and technical profile, agreements were reached on expanding the network of branches of leading Russian universities in Kazakhstan and the training of specialists in Russia under the Bolashak program," the press service explained.
A total of 11 documents were signed. Among them - a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and the Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Communications of Russia to exchange experiences in the field of digitalization, a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and the Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the "Roscosmos" State Corporation for Space Activity on cooperation on data exchange from spacecraft remote sensing. In addition, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the "Rosatom" State Atomic Energy Corporation on cooperation in training in the peaceful use of atomic energy of Kazakhstan. A number of memorandums of understanding were also signed between the Kazakhstani joint-stock company "Center for International Programs" and a number of Russian universities.
