The closing ceremony of the VIII International Army Games (Army-2022) in Kazakhstan was held on Wednesday in Nur-Sultan at the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces. This was reported to reporters in the Russian Defense Ministry.
" From August 13, three Army-2022 contests were held in Kazakhstan. A total of 26 teams from 15 countries took part in the competitions. During the ceremony, winners and medalists were awarded in general and individual categories," the Russian military department said.
Thus, the team of Kazakhstan won in the competition of topographical service "Meridian", military topographers of China came second, and the military of Belarus and Uzbekistan shared the third place.
In the "Tactical shooter" competition, Kazakhstan's representatives also took the lead, followed by China's team in second place. Third place was divided between Russia and Uzbekistan.
Servicemen from Kazakhstan were the best in the "Masters of Artillery Fire" mortar crew competition. The Russian team came second, with Azerbaijan in third place.
