Kazan hosts the International Scientific Forum "Russia - Africa: Politics, Economy, History and Culture"

Today the Institute of International Relations of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University is hosting the International Scientific Forum "Russia - Africa: Politics, Economy, History and Culture".


Among the co-organizers of the event are the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World", the Egyptian-Russian Foundation for Culture and Science (Arab Republic of Egypt, Cairo) and the Center for Research and Scientific Cooperation "Aualim" (Kingdom of Morocco, Tetouan).

 

 

According to the university press service, the Forum is held under the auspices of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, headed by Ambassador for Special Assignments of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Ozerov.


The event is attended by ambassadors from a number of African countries, heads of organizations engaged in African studies, African scientists from Russia, CIS countries, as well as from Africa - a total of more than 100 participants, including countries such as France, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan.


The forum will hold 7 sections, a round table on "Cooperation between Russia and African countries", as well as a presentation of the book by Oleg Ozerov "Karim Khakimov: Chronicle of Life" about the outstanding Soviet diplomat Karimov.
