Kyrgyzstan Calls on SCO Members to Share Experience in Combating Threats

Kyrgyzstan has urged members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to exchange experiences in combating modern threats to enhance collective responses to emerging challenges, Maksat Asanaliev, the head of the Kyrgyz supervisory agency, during the 22nd meeting of the prosecutors general of the SCO countries held in Bishkek.

 

"The exchange of experience and knowledge within the framework of this event will help us not only to understand, but also to effectively respond to the complexities generated by new technologies and digitalization," said Asanaliev. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the protection and observance of human rights and freedoms at the forefront of these efforts.

 

The session in Bishkek focuses on the role of supervisory agencies in countering new threats in the digital era and ensuring human rights. The meeting is attended by the heads of relevant structures from Russia, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The Russian delegation is led by Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.
