Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Brunei Darussalam's Second Foreign Minister Erywan Yusof engaged in discussions about bilateral cooperation and their countries' interactions in international affairs. This meeting took place on the sidelines of ministerial events for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
According to a report by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the discussions were constructive, focusing on "topical issues of Russia-Brunei cooperation and interaction between the two countries in international affairs."
Lavrov arrived in Vientiane on Thursday morning to participate in ASEAN events. During his visit, he has also held meetings with his counterparts from East Timor, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
