Lavrov discussed the Middle East with the EU representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the Munich Security Policy Conference.

The diplomats discussed the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program.

Some issues of Russia-EU relations were also touched upon.
