"There was a detailed discussion on all aspects of the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021. Particular emphasis was placed on the discussion of the exchange of prisoners of war, humanitarian assistance, unblocking transport links in the region, including in the context of efforts on the trilateral working group at the level of deputy prime ministers," the diplomatic office said.

The parties "noted with satisfaction" that Russian-Armenian multifaceted allied relations continue to develop intensively despite the coronavirus pandemic. "An understanding was reached on the need for consistent activation of bilateral exchanges as sanitary restrictions are lifted," the Russian Foreign Ministry informed.

In addition, the Ministers reviewed current topics on the regional and international agenda, with a focus on the situation in the Transcaucasus.
