Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths in Moscow and expressed his readiness to discuss the Russia-UN cooperation on the humanitarian situation in Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen.
The head of the Russian diplomatic mission said he expects to discuss "practical issues that need to be addressed" during the current talks and "later in the defense ministry."
"And we will be ready to consider our interaction in such serious situations from a humanitarian point of view as Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen," Lavrov continued. - "I hope to discuss all subjects of mutual interest."
