Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Monday, during a press conference following the sixth round of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) strategic dialogue, that Syria's return to the Arab League has had a positive impact on the political atmosphere in the Middle East.
"Syria's reintegration into the Arab League, which occurred during the summit in Jeddah on May 19 of this year, has strengthened the international standing of all Arab states. Their collective ability to make important, coherent, and forward-looking decisions has been demonstrated," Lavrov emphasized.
