Russia, for its part, has long done everything to solve the problem of food security, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday at a press conference following talks with Foreign Minister Abdel Latif bin Rashed al-Zayani of Bahrain.
"Those initiatives that are being sounded now on the subject of food security should be solved taking into account the fact that from the Russian side everything that depends on us has been guaranteed for a long time. As for the Western countries, which created a lot of artificial problems by closing their ports for Russian vessels and cutting off logistics and financial chains, they should think about what is more important for them - to make publicity move on the problem of food security or to solve the problem by specific steps", he said.
