Russia welcomes the stabilization of the internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan, including the successful constitutional reform, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Saturday at a press conference following talks with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev.
"I would also like to note that Russia welcomed the stabilization of the internal political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the successful constitutional reform, the approval of the presidential form of government, the recent parliamentary elections and the formation of the executive authorities," he said.
Lavrov is convinced that a stable Kyrgyzstan, together with Russia and together with other allies in the region, will promote a positive agenda that will allow all countries, all peoples here, to experience positive changes.
