Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri is expected to visit Russia soon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday at a press conference following talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
"We are expecting Prime Minister Saad Hariri in Russia in the coming days," he said. - "We will also host representatives of other leading political forces of this country in Moscow."
"We will urge them to realize their responsibility to their people and country and to form a government that will reflect a balance of interests of all parts of Lebanese society," the Minister added.
Lavrov stressed that Lebanon's problem and the current political crisis can be solved exclusively by the Lebanese people themselves with the obligatory participation of all political forces and ethnoreligious groups of this country. "This must be without any prescriptions that are imposed from the outside, even under the promise of some financial assistance," said the Russian Foreign Minister.
