The agenda of the Russia-Africa summit is being updated with new interesting clauses, and preparations for the event are currently in full swing, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with RT on Monday.
"They [preparations] are in full swing. The agenda of the summit is being updated with new exciting clauses, which will soon be announced. I'm sure that everyone will be very, very interested to learn about these events," the minister said.
"We proceed from the premise that no opportunistic moments can be brought into the strategic relations between Russia and African partners," he added. Lavrov said he had received several "solidarity calls" from African colleagues in connection with the June 24 events.
