Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the G20 summit in Bali, the Russian delegation will be headed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The head of state's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Thursday.
"It was decided that Russia will be represented at the G20 summit by Sergey Lavrov," the Kremlin spokesman said.
Earlier on Thursday, Reuters reported, citing an Indonesian government spokesman, that Jakarta said the Russian leader could take part online in one of the sessions of the upcoming summit.
The G20 summit will be held on November 15-16.
