Terrorists from the group Jabhat al-Nusra (banned in the Russian Federation) shelled a convoy carrying Syrian troops in the western city of Aleppo, 360 km from Damascus, on Friday. One of the missiles hit a bus, Al-Mayadeen TV reported.
As a result, 12 soldiers and militiamen from the National Defense Forces were killed and 14 others were wounded and received medical treatment.
There is no information yet about a Syrian army retaliatory strike against the positions of the militants who broke the truce.
The last armed attack by the militants was carried out in March 2021. Two civilians were killed and 17 others, including children, were wounded in the Firdous area.
