Media: US Not Aiming for Middle East Resolution Before Elections

16 October

The United States administration is not actively pursuing any significant agreements to resolve the situation in the Middle East before the upcoming presidential elections. This was reported by Al Hadath, citing sources within the administration.

One source explained that Washington's primary concern is to ensure that "nothing happens until the elections." Another source indicated that discussions regarding any substantial agreements for Middle East peace are not even on the table. This hesitation may stem from concerns that any agreements made by President Joe Biden's administration might not be honored by the next US president, whether it be Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.

The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, with former President Trump representing the Republican Party and Vice President Harris running for the Democrats.
