Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he expects to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on March 5.
"A four-party meeting involving (German Chancellor Angela) Merkel and (French President Emmanuel) Macron has not yet been agreed but we have agreed to meet with Putin on March 5," the Turkish leader told reporters.
The main topic of discussion at the meeting of the Russian and Turkish leaders should be the situation in Idlib, Syria.
"In Idlib (Syrian President Bashar al-Assad) is leading an offensive. If 1-2-3 million refugees come to our borders, what will we do? Our dialogue with Putin continues, " Erdogan said.
