Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of Tatarstan, has arrived in Malaysia for a working visit. He was welcomed at the international airport by Nail Latypov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, and Dato' Daing, the head of a major local energy corporation.
During his visit, scheduled for August 13 in Kuala Lumpur, Minnikhanov will engage in several meetings and visit a corporation specializing in the development of Malaysia’s halal industry. He will also present Tatarstan’s agricultural potential.
Malaysia, a major player in several key industries, excels in electronics, electrical products, chemicals, food processing, rubber, metalworking, agriculture, and mining. The country is known for its stable GDP growth and is a leading exporter of oil and liquefied natural gas in Southeast Asia. Additionally, Malaysia ranks first globally in the production of electronic chips.
