Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been discharged from the hospital and has already started working at the Government House, his press secretary Boris Belyakov told reporters.
"Mikhail Vladimirovich completed treatment and was discharged from the hospital. He started working in the Government House. In the morning, he held a working meeting with colleagues via videoconference, " the Prime Minister's representative said.
While in the medical facility, Mishustin held several meetings in the format of a videoconference. Earlier it was noted that he was on the mend and could soon be released from the hospital. On Monday, the Prime Minister was still holding meetings from the hospital.
Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported that Putin signed a decree canceling the assignment of Prime Minister's duties to the First Deputy Chairman of the government, Andrey Belousov.
On April 30, the head of state signed a decree "On fulfilling the duties of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation" after Mishustin reported that he had been diagnosed with the coronavirus. Now the April document is considered "invalid". The current decree came into force on the day of its signing.
