Deputy Chairman of the International University City of Science and Technology DSR Sri Lanka Mohamed Ismail Sini shared his impressions of participating in the 10th meeting of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" (GSV), which was held on December 11, 2024 in Malaysia. According to the Deputy Chairman, the event turned out to be very interesting: the conference brought together political and religious figures, as well as scientists from different countries and cities.

Mr. Sini also noted that during the conference it was possible to obtain very interesting information about the interaction between the Soviet Union and the Islamic world, as well as about the extensive activities of the GSV. The deputy chairman highly appreciated the level of organization of the past event, and also warmly spoke about the hospitality and friendly attitude of the organizers.

In addition to discussing the Palestinian issue, the participants spoke at length about the situation in Syria and Lebanon, as well as other events in the Muslim world. In this context, much relevant information was voiced about the interaction between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world, including measures implemented by the state to assist the Muslim population, both in Russia itself and beyond its borders, aimed at developing inter-civilizational and inter-faith dialogue in the context of the emerging multipolarity in the world.

"We hope that Russia will always be with Muslims", - said Mr. Mohamed Ismail Sini.
