The meeting of the Russian-Egyptian counter-terrorism working group was held in Moscow.
The event was co-chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Oleg Syromolotov, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hamdi Loza.
According to the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties exchanged assessments of the state of global and regional terrorist threats, and also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation at international platforms and through line ministries and departments.
