The Council of Foundation for Support of Islamic, Science and Education, a new body to manage the activities of the Foundation, was approved.
According to the press service of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, Damir Hazrat Mukhetdinov, is among the 14 members of the Council.
In accordance with the new Charter of the organization, the Foundation loses its status as a charitable foundation and becomes a non-profit organization.
Starting from 2020, the development of Islamic education and the training program for specialists with an in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of Islam will be transferred to the competence of the Foundation for the first time.
The founders are the Russian Muftis Council, the Central Religious Board of Muslims and the Coordination center of Muslims in the North Caucasus. Now the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation and the International Islamic Mission have joined the founders.
