Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha will arrive in Pakistan on December 10 on a three-day official visit. This was announced by the press service of the Pakistani MFA on Thursday.
As part of his trip to the Islamic republic, Taha will hold meetings with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunications Aminul Haque, Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar and Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira., it was reported.
According to the press release of the Pakistani MFA, the OIC secretary-general will also visit the Islamic Republic-controlled region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (the ownership of Kashmir remains the subject of a territorial dispute between India and Pakistan since 1947).
