The speech delivered by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is crucial for ensuring indivisible security and shaping a multipolar world order, stated Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Co-chairman of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties. He made these remarks at the international interparty forum in the "BRICS and Partner Countries" format, themed "The World Majority for a Multipolar World."
“We are holding our BRICS conference at a very significant moment in world history, marked by a shift in the balance of global economic and political power from the West, the USA, and the EU to the East,” - the senator said. - “We are witnessing the development and resurgence of the global South, which is well-represented and enriching the world majority.”
“In this era, it is extremely important to view security as a unified and indivisible concept,” - noted Sayed. - “I watched President Vladimir Putin’s very important speech at the Foreign Ministry, which focused on the concept of indivisible security. The president made several significant points.”
“First, we are observing the emergence of a multipolar and multilateral world order instead of a unipolar one,” - the senator pointed out. - “In this context, the role of organizations such as BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Eurasian Economic Union becomes paramount. Additionally, we see the collapse of the global order. Putin highlighted the collapse of the Euro-Atlantic system.”
The senator outlined his vision for the future contours of the international system, which he referred to as the three "Ds". “The first ‘D’ stands for the democratization of the world order,” he continued. “Democratization means that the new order is not based on the dictate, hegemony, or control of a single country. The second element is the demilitarization of international relations, as we are witnessing a militarization of international relations, primarily driven by the USA. The third ‘D’ is dedollarization, as the US monopoly and its ability to impose financial dictates through dollar hegemony are being challenged,” the senator said.
